Make A Wish

After finishing the last painting I couldn't wait to start another. I started in the same way as before, a little bit of colour and after my sister and I created a bunch of new Whichcraft stencils, I wanted to see how they looked on the canvas!

After adding the stencils and a little more colour it was time to add the colour wash.

I thought the picture would remain in this orientation, but I ended up changing it.  One of the things I really love about this technique is that you never really know how it will be when it is finished.  I had a completely different idea for this canvas, but when I turned it on its side I could see that it was going to be something else, so I just went with it!  And here is the finished result!

Thanks for dropping by and may all your wishes come true :)

    2. how did you get the stencils so sharp, I am using a small sponge and I still get running through and also what did you use for white, mine doesn't come out that bright and the colors underneath get absorb through the white.
